Meet Teresa Burtz – Remote Scheduling Coordinator
With over 40 years of experience in the dental field, Teresa is a beloved and invaluable member of the Stonebriar Smile Design family. Working remotely from Amarillo, Texas, Teresa is often the cheerful voice you hear on the phone—reminding you of your appointments, helping you reschedule, adding family members, or simply offering a listening ear and kind words when you need them most.
A graduate of Amarillo College, Teresa began her dental career as a dental assistant before transitioning into office management, where her passion for patient care truly blossomed. She has a heart for people and believes in connecting with every patient not just professionally, but personally. To Teresa, every call is more than a task—it’s an opportunity to make someone feel seen, supported, and valued.
Affectionately known as “Mama T” by patients and team members alike, Teresa’s warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit leave a lasting impression on everyone she meets. Whether she’s helping someone find the perfect appointment time or just brightening their day, her heart is always fully present.
Outside of work, Teresa shares a beautiful life with her husband Chris, an executive account manager for Costco at Interstate Batteries. She’s a proud mom to a son and a bonus daughter, a loving daughter-in-law, and a doting “Mimi” to her two precious grandbabies. In fact, she moved back to Amarillo just to be closer to them—proof of how deeply she loves her family. You’ll often find her teaching them about gardening, planting vegetables, and enjoying every moment of togetherness.
