Meet Odilette Diaz – Dental Hygienist
With nearly 20 years of experience and almost five of them as a valued member of the Stonebriar Smile Design team, Odilette Washy is a true force in our office. A graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, Odilette is certified in both nitrous oxide and CPR, and brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and energy to every patient interaction.
Known affectionately around the office as “OD,” she’s small in stature but lights up every room she walks into. Her dynamic personality, warm presence, and contagious laughter have redefined what it means to enjoy a dental visit. In fact, many of her patients actually look forward to their cleanings—because they know they’ll leave not only with a healthier smile but a brighter day.
OD’s favorite part of her role is patient connection. She thrives on educating others about their oral health and how it ties into total body wellness. Her goal is always to empower her patients with knowledge, encouragement, and personalized care that meets them where they are.
Outside of work, Odilette shares a full and joyful life with her husband of nearly 20 years and their three young children. She’s bilingual, creative, and hands-on in every area of life—designing custom shirts for her kids, caring for their horses and cattle, and planning family vacations. Her life is rooted in faith, family, fun, and balance, and she leads by example both in and out of the office.
Whether she’s helping a patient overcome dental anxiety or helping her kids with a school project, Odilette does it all with heart, humor, and grace. Her commitment to wellness and her belief in a full, balanced life make her an essential part of the Stonebriar Smile Design family.
